In the course of campaign, Co-Chairpersons of the Inter-faction deputy union “Equal Opportunities” Iryna Herashchenko and Olena Kondratiuk stressed that such skills today, unfortunately, become increasingly topical for civil population. “In conditions of aggression against Ukraine, when a neighborly country exports terrorism and separatism to our country, we should learn how to protect ourselves and our land,” said I.Herashchenko.
The campaign aims at uniting society around the theme of defending Ukraine, providing support to the Ukrainian Army and special units that defend the country today and boosting the morale of the society. “We are a peaceful country, the majority of our women are peace-loving and calm, however, we are ready to mobilize our efforts to defend values of our country and our sovereignty,” claimed O.Kondratiuk.
I.Herashchenko and O.Kondratiuk promised that during the nearest parliamentary session week they will initiate discussion of the issue pertaining to increasing hours for studying basics of first aid treatment, military skills and patriotic upbringing at schools and higher educational establishments.
